We are making our own bed frame. We have
been working on it for about two years now. I bought a little over 950 pounds of
steel to make it out of. I am currently at 85-90% complete. At one point it was one inch to tall to get into the door. So this past year I concentrated on cutting the bed frame in half and took out 4 inches in width. I am going to use a different way to secure the mattress to the frame. SInce 450 pounds
is easier to carry than 900 I can work on it with out a lot of assistance. I have pictures on
this site. I will be updating them shortly.
Check
it out here

"Never any time", "not enough time", "time is short", "I will get to it tomorrow".
I have used
them all. I was told them all. People have priorities, jobs, kids and their own lives. Do we
really have enough time? I had to teach myself that things do not
need to get done "right
away" or "at that moment". There were days that
I would be up for 30 hours straight just
to help other people. Nothing was ever really an emergency they just wanted it right away.
I lost some health and life for other people and in the end it just made me a little more wiser. I am all for getting my work done in a very efficient manner but I will not loose
my health over it. In 100 years who will care?? I ask that question every once in a while
when I get ramped up and it makes me calm down.
This web site has taken me about 18 months to put together because
I always placed myself
second and sometimes third or forth in line. I will make updates to this site on a regular
basis to keep things alive.
Looking forward to summer 2009
